San Marcos boys soccer celebrates first Channel League title since 2002

San Marcos wins the outright Channel League title in boys soccer.

GOLETA, Calif. - It's been awhile but the Royals are Channel League champions in boys soccer.

San Marcos scored three first half goals to beat Dos Pueblos 3-0 and clinch the outright league title for the first time since 2002.

Yahir Vasquez, Jared Vom Steeg and Leonel Olivo scored goals for the Royals who will have a home CIF soccer playoff game next week.
