Forecasted rain postpones Santa Maria Christmas in the Country drive-thru

Santa Maria Christmas in the Country

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – Santa Maria's Christmas in the Country drive-thru has been postponed a week due to forecasted rain over the weekend.

The event will instead add Thursday nights for the first two weeks to make up for the cancellation over the Dec. 10-11 weekend.

Organizers said that people who had tickets for this weekend will receive an email with information on what to do.

The event was originally scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays until Dec. 24, but now it will have additional dates, as seen below.

Here is what organizers wrote in the email sent on Friday:

In regards to your ticket that you purchased for either tonight (Friday, December 9th) or for tomorrow night (Saturday, December 10th), your ticket will be valid to use any other night of Christmas in the Country, with no need to exchange, repurchase, or make a new reservation. Your ticket is valid for any time slot for any of our remaining open nights with no action required on your part. Simply show up at one of the following evenings for your magical experience:

Thursday, December 15th
Friday, December 16th
Saturday, December 17th

Thursday, December 22nd
Friday, December 23rd
Saturday, December 24th

Our gates are open for guests from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Organizers asked for those interested to reply to their email so they can confirm you have received notification of the opening weekend postponement.
