Suspect in Monday night shooting in Santa Maria dies of injuries

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Santa Maria Police Department says a man who shot an underage family member and then turned the gun on himself, has died from his injuries.

Police said late Tuesday that Ronald Enos, 56, of Santa Maria had died.

Officers say he shot a family member and then himself after the two got into a fight Monday night. It happened at a home in the 900 block of W. Williams Street.

The two were hospitalized and initially listed in critical condition.

Police did not release any information about the victim due to his age.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Santa Maria police.
