SANTA YNEZ VALLEY, Calif. – It's the last week to vote in the annual Santa Ynez Valley Scarecrow Festival.

The colorful and creative event is featuring scarecrows of all types in front of businesses throughout the valley. Many are made in the theme of the business from wine tasting rooms to retail.

More than 50 scarecrows can be found in the area.

The scarecrows competing in the annual Harvest Award are in Ballard, Buellton, Los Alamos, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang. Individually, the competition categories include the most humorous, the spookiest, best business themed scarecrow and best use of recycled material.
