Friday morning forecast – Jan. 31st

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - We will see sunny skies and slightly warmer temperatures on Friday, with highs in the low to mid-70s. Winds will be weaker, save for some weak to moderate Santa Ana winds in Ventura County. Temperatures will stay about 10 degrees above average, with unseasonably warm temperatures lasting through Saturday.

After temperatures peak on Saturday, we'll see a pattern change beginning on Sunday. A low pressure system will dip into Southern California, bringing more clouds, gusty winds and much cooler temperatures. Mountain areas in Santa Barbara County and Ventura County could see a slight chance of light rain or snow showers.

Temperatures will continue to cool on Monday, completing about a 15-degree drop between Saturday and Monday. We will stay in a generally dry pattern as we enter February, as we won't see another chance for considerable rain through at least next week.
