Shawn joined the News Channel 3-12 team in November, 2006 as weekend weather anchor. He graduated from Cal State Northridge with a degree in Geography with a heavy emphasis in atmospheric sciences.

His forecasts can be seen every weekend on News Channel 3-12 at 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. and on News Channel 11 at 10:00 p.m.

Along with his weekend duties, Shawn is also a full-time 8th grade science teacher for the Oxnard School District. Shawn has four children and three grandchildren. He enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and riding bicycles.
