Hoover and San Marcos win at Dos Pueblos

GOLETA, Calif. - Chase Hoover shutdown the Dos Pueblos bats and the San Marcos offense got to Chargers ace Ryan Speshyock with a 4-run third inning on their way to a 9-1 Channel League victory.

San Marcos is now 4-1 in league and 10-2 overall while DP is 3-2 in league.

Hoover struck out seven in 4.2 innings of work allowing just one run.

Joaquin Sandoval drove in four runs for the Royals.
