SB Neighborhood Clinics celebrates National Health Center Week

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics is one of the main healthcare providers along the South Coast. In the past year, SB Clinics saw 20,000 individual patients, nearly 25 percent were children.

This week there's a national campaign to bring attention to health centers like SB Clinics. During National Health Center Week they will highlight public health, homeless needs, agriculture workers and children's health.

Saturday is Children's Health Day. And SB Clinics will help host a Tools for School back-to-school event. There will be free backpacks and school supplies for pre-registered Housing Authority youths. They will also give vaccines for anyone 12+ who has not received one yet. To pre-register call 805-897-1059.
