Tracking marine clouds Thursday, toasty weekend

Marine clouds fill the skies along with pockets of dense fog. Clouds will clear quickly and this will be one of the last comfortable days before the heat cranks up. Highs rise to 70s, 80s and 90s. High Surf Advisories and Beach Hazard Statements remain. Enjoy a nice bike ride or a round of golf today!

More dense fog will greet us Friday morning. These clouds clear rapidly and the warming trend begins. Highs rise to 80s, 90s and triple digits. Around a 5-8 degree temperature jump is expected. Marine waters will be hazardous so head to the Rodeo or the fair and stay hydrated! This will be a peak heating day for most.

Above average temperatures hold Saturday and Sunday. Heat Alerts and Marine Alerts hold. Fire risk is heightened and some areas may need Fire Alerts in place. We begin to cool slightly Monday and Tuesday of next week. More info to come.
