Toasty Friday, cool & cloudy weekend

Happy first day of May! We begin Friday morning with clear skies and cool temperatures. Shed off layers extra early as temperatures soar fast. Highs rise into the 70s and 80s with breezy offshore winds.

A cool low pressure system drop down into southern California this weekend bringing onshore flow and an abundance of clouds. Expect marine layer mornings and overnights. This will cause temperatures to drop into the upper 50s and 60s. A noticeable drop from days prior and an increase in humidity.

Sunday will be cool and cloudy as well. highs rise into the 60s and low 70s. Sunday night into Monday morning, light showers may pop up. Most of the area is holding steady at 20% chance or less. All rain amounts will be dismal and under a tenth of an inch. We begin to Dry out Monday and temperatures bounce back to average.
