Brisk Tuesday morning, tracking strong winds

Clear skies and strong winds produce frigid temperatures Tuesday morning. Bundle up and grab a warm cup of coffee for the road! We begin to warm into the 60s near lunch, most areas remain a few degrees below average. No Wind Advisories are in place, however strong gusts develop after lunch. Most beaches hod with 15-30mph prevailing winds. Over night lows will. be exceptionally cool. Many areas drop into the 30s and 40s.

We begin Wednesday morning with clear skies and lingering Gaviota winds. Clouds will increase Wednesday afternoon as an other small low pressure system brings rain to the north. The moisture availability drys out before our area, so expect breezy winds, cloudy skies but no rain. High waves may be prevalent in west facing beaches.

Thursday begins with a few clouds and areas of fog. Temperatures remain mild and skies clear out by the evening. We begin a warming trend Friday into the weekend and will be back to mid 70s by Friday and Saturday. Long range data shows rain chances. More information to come.
