Warming Tuesday, above average into the weekend

We begin Tuesday morning with another round of dense fog and clouds. Visibility will be a big issue for most travelling through Santa Barbara and Ventura. We see the heat crank up early north of Gaviota as minimal marine layer influence cannot shield Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo from the heat. A Heat Advisory still in effect for these areas through 8pm. Expect upper 80s and 90s, while the marine layer keeps Santa Barbara and Ventura in the 80s. Mostly sunny skies prevail south of Gaviota after lunch.

All beaches and inland areas warm Wednesday. Expect marine clouds but a faster clearing trend. Highs rise into the 80s for most areas. Winds will be breezy at times but not up to advisory level.

Highs in the 80s hold Thursday into the weekend. Minimal day to day differences other than marine layer clouds and fog. Some chances of rain appear into April, more to come.
