OXNARD, Calif. - Oxnard beaches will remain open this Labor Day weekend, but certain restrictions will be in place to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

The Oxnard Police Department wants to remind residents and visitors that all safety guidelines in the current County Health Order must be observed.

This means that gatherings should only include members of the same household. Social distancing guidelines need to be followed at all times. Parking will also be limited and "No Parking" signs will be posted in residential neighborhoods to prevent overcrowding.

The Oxnard Police Department says it appreciates all of the care and efforts made to stop the spread and keep the community safe.
