Sheriff’s Office identifies Santa Maria residents killed following December head-on collision

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office has identified two people killed following a head-on collision on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, on Tuesday as 30-year-old Arnol Hernandez Zuniga and 30-year-old Adrian Rojas-Ramirez, both of Santa Maria.

According to a preliminary investigation at the scene, Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office detail that the two deceased Santa Maria residents were traveling southbound in a 2003 Nissan Murano on the northbound side of Highway 101 when they collided head-on with a 2013 Toyota Highlander.

Both were declared dead at the scene and the other driver was taken to Marian Regional Medical Center with major injuries stated Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.
