Santa Barbara County Fire Department on sight of possible dryer fire at Tajiguas Land Fill

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif.– Santa Barbara County Fire is on the scene of an active exterior dryer fire at Tajiguas Land Fill sorting center.

Fire resources responded at 11:22 a.m. Thursday morning and shortly afterwards closed the facility down for fire crews to search for any lingering burns.

The cause remains under investigation, but SBC Fire was able to respond so fast due to the early fire recognition fire alarm system.
