Drew Ascione
Drew is the Assignment Editor at News Channel 3-12.
Drew joined the News Channel 3-12 team trading in winter for everyday sunshine after graduating from Emerson College in Boston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism and minor degrees in Political Communication, Women & Gender Studies, and Radio Streaming.
Originally starting out as a Digital Producer/ Assignment Desk Assistant in August 2022, Drew quickly showed her passion for capturing human life in action from a diverse, inclusive, and accessible mindset launching her into her current role as Assignment Editor in November of the same year.
Drew Ascione spent four years living on the East Coast but is no stranger to Southern California growing up in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Northridge, California.
Committed to authentic accurate storytelling Drew continues her post-grad journalism career with KEYT at News Channel 3-12.
