Peoples Self Help Housing project underway in Nipomo

NIPOMO, Calif. – At least ten new homes are under construction in Nipomo along Thompson Avenue at the intersection with Branch Street.

The project is being led by Peoples Self Help Housing in San Luis Obispo.

Designated as affordable units, most of the new homes are already assigned to those who applied for housing.

Some of the prospective new owners are helping build the homes that are expected to be completed later this year.

It's one of many local housing projects underway or planned by Peoples Self Help Housing.
