Santa Barbara Public Library

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Santa Barbara Public Library introduced a new collection of items available through their catalog for SBPL cardholders, Adventure Packs!

Adventure packs have equipment and written information for an outdoor activity like a stand-up paddle board or a family fishing kit.

Each adventure pack has instructions and descriptions in both English and Spanish.

SBPL cardholders can place a hold on an adventure pack through the library's catalog and when its ready, you will receive a notification that it is time for pickup at the Central Library on 40 East Anapamu St. in Santa Barbara.

Once checked out, you have the adventure pack for the next three weeks, so get out there and adventure!

The adventure pack program is funded by a grant from the state government and administered by the California State Library. Click here to learn more about the California State Library.
