At the Santa Barbara City College box by the Garvin Theater, Barbara Collinson said, "it's one of the most important voting things happening right now, so I am glad I did it early." She called it one of the biggest elections of her lifetime.
Andrew Smith lives in the neighborhood and dropped his off while on a dog walk. "I was decided for quite awhile," he said.
There was a brief review and the marking began. "I studied them when I got the ballot and everything made sense to me so I made my choices."
Voters can drop their ballots off at the special boxes, at the U.S. Post Office, in person at the elections office or at any polling place.
