SoCal Edison calls off planned power outage in Goleta

GOLETA, Calif. – Southern California Edison waved off a safety power outage in parts of Goleta as soon as 6:00 p.m. Friday, according to the Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management.

The SB County Office of Emergency Management said the outage was no longer considered as 10:41 p.m. via its social media page.

A community resource center was available at the Courtyard by Marriott in Goleta for those impacted by the possible outage.
