Rain possible around Halloween, Monday Oct 26th forecast

Pixabay

Light offshore winds have turned light onshore which means another beautiful day was had by all weather wise. Look for a similar pattern for the overnight and in to early Monday with perhaps a bit better marine layer developing along the Central Coast. Temperatures on Monday will once again range from the mid 60's to mid 70' for most areas with maybe a few of our warmest locations topping out closer to 80 degrees.

Looking ahead, the offshore flow will weaken slightly as we head in to next week with some fog slowly creeping back in along the Central Coast. Temperatures will stay mostly seasonal through about mid week. An area of low pressure will approach the region toward the Thursday and Friday and this is when we could see another rain event for Halloween weekend. Our forecast computers are definitely seeing good chances for precipitation on Friday and then Saturday which is Halloween. However, our long range models disagree about intensity and exact trajectory with regard to this next rain chance. This type of weather pattern is usually very erratic and needs to be monitored daily for expected changes. We will watch and update accordingly right here and as well on broadcast channels.
