Heat wave Wednesday, extreme heat & red flag warnings

KEYT

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Temperatures go up Wednesday during the heat wave nearing or breaking daily records.

Onshore winds will get even weaker Wednesday which will make it even warmer across the Central Coast.

The heat wave will hold through Thursday or Friday though clouds from tropical storm Iselle may impact our heating potential.

Red flag warnings, heat advisories and extreme heat warnings continue through Thursday and Friday.

Onshore flow and cooling begins Saturday though it will stay warm over the weekend.

Much cooler weather returns next week our area back into the 60s and 70s.
