Cooling Tuesday, tracking rain chances

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Cooling continues Tuesday with more clouds coverage and inland storm chances.

Heat is moving east as low pressure drops south toward the California coast.

Onshore winds and the marine layer will be getting stronger this week.

Rain and thunderstorms our of the east may push into our local mountain ranges through Wednesday with a 20-40 percent chance of rain inland and a 10 to 15 percent chance of rain near the coast.

Coastal flooding and high tides are also expected south of Pt Conception through Wednesday.

Temperatures decline through Friday then will get slightly warmer over the weekend.
