Heating up Friday, extreme heat alert & heat advisory

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Another brief heat wave will arrive locally on Friday and Saturday.

80-110 degree temperatures are possible here at home with heat alerts in effect through Sunday across the region.

Up to 8 ft waves are expected at Ventura County beaches through Sunday.

Fog is possible Friday morning through it will be a mostly sunny weekend.

Heat relief will arrive by Monday with most cities dropping back into the 70s - only a few degrees above normal - setting us up for warm but pleasant afternoons and warm evenings to start Old Spanish Days.
