Warmer Thursday, heating Friday

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Temperatures start to move up Thursday into the upper 70s and low 80s.

Heat builds in Friday with heat advisories and extreme heat warnings going in effect for nearly the entire region through Sunday.

Slight cooling back into the upper 70s arrives Monday though temperatures will remain above average next week.

High surf is expected at Ventura County beaches through Saturday.
