Mild Wednesday, tracking next heat wave

KEYT

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Warm and above average temperatures continue Wednesday - we will remain mostly in the 70s for another day.

That will not last, however, as we are set to heat up as early as Thursday with extreme heat warnings and advisories returning on Friday morning through Sunday night.

High surf and coastal flooding is possible at Ventura County Beaches through Saturday.

Slight cooling is possible early next week though heat is likely to linger or strengthen after that.
