Warm weekend, tracking partly cloudy skies

KEYT

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Warm or hot weather continues into the weekend though sparse clouds are streaming in from the southeast.

Humid conditions will remain with rainfall in Mexico and Arizona over the weekend.

Heat alerts remain in effect through Monday night except for parts of the Central Coast.

Midweek next week, heat will shift slightly to the east as onshore winds and marine layer chances strengthen, so that will bring some slight relief.

Temperatures are likely to rebound late next week after that brief cooling.

The first weekend of August is looking hot and dry.
