Warm Thursday, cooling trend begins

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Warm and sunny weather continues Thursday though temperatures will begin cooling off through the weekend.

Onshore winds will be increasing, dropping temperatures by about 5 degrees along the coast.

Heat alerts remain in effect through Thursday evening with 80-110 temperatures possible locally.

Conditions will start to near normal by Friday or Saturday as coastal clouds return for the weekend.

There will be a slight boost in temperatures early next week but we will mostly remain in the 70s.
