Saturday evening forecast Dec 14th

A windy and very cool day for most of us as fast moving Pacific storm rushes on by. Slight rain chances, with maybe a snow flurry above 4000-ft, could occur through the night. Overnight lows will be brisk with most areas dipping to the 40's. Winds are very strong from the north/northwest. A Wind Advisory is in effect for most areas, but will drop for all areas by late tonight. However, the strongest and most persistent gusts will be found along the Santa Barbara South Coast and the advisory should last at least into early Sunday.
For Sunday, look for the winds to continue and then slowly turn more north to northeast by the evening. Highs will be in the 60's for most areas with upper 60's expected along the South Coast as a slight warming effect results from the northerly direction of the winds.
Looking ahead, a brief Santa Ana is expected for Monday and early Tuesday as the winds shift more northeasterly. Temperatures will warm to near and even slightly above normal. More clouds will approach the region by late Tuesday.  Sprinkles are expected for our northern areas by Wednesday with just a slight chance for areas south of Pt. Conception. We should then clear up for Thursday, but more clouds are expected by late Friday and in to next weekend. Shower chances do come back in to play as well! Right now, it looks like another fast moving system that just brushes the region mirroring what we are seeing now. We will watch closely and update the forecast frequently as needed!
