Lompoc Police identify man killed in Saturday hit-and-run in Home Depot parking lot

LOMPOC, Calif. – The Lompoc Police Department identified the man killed in a hit-and-run on Saturday in the parking lot of a Home Depot as Antonio Ramos, 42, of Lompoc.

Lompoc Police said officers responded to the vehicle vs. pedestrian crash at about 6:07 p.m. Saturday on the 1700 block of East Ocean Avenue.

Officers who arrived at the scene said they found the 42-year-old with major injuries and, although life saving measures were performed, pronounced Ramos dead at the scene.

The police department said this is an ongoing investigation, and ask anyone with information to contact the department at 805-736-2341.
