Santa Maria Police locate missing teen with help from the community

SANTA MARIA, Calif. – Santa Maria Police Department (SMPD) has successfully located a missing teen thanks to help from the community detailed an update Wednesday morning.

The missing 13-year-old, Kattie Jackson, was reported by SMPD as last seen by her family at her residence around 9 p.m. on Monday, Sep. 25.

Kattie was believed to be in Santa Maria, but may have got a ride to Grover Beach relay SMPD.

SMPD described Kattie as 5' 5", with green eyes and reddish brown hair and was last seen wearing red and black pajama pants with a black top and an orange hoodie.
