Meet the new Santa Maria Fire Chief: Brad Dandridge

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The City of Santa Maria has a new Fire Chief.

Brad Dandridge was sworn in by Mayor Alice Patino in front of the Santa Maria City Council and family members and friends during a ceremony last night.

Dandridge grew up in Santa Maria, attended Santa Maria High School and pursued a professional baseball career before deciding to become a firefighter with the Fresno City Fire Department. 

He rose through the ranks and then pursued the opening for Fire Chief in the City of Santa Maria.

He has served has interim Fire Chief since earlier this year.
