Tracking King Tides Monday

King Tides will bring coastal flooding concerns to the Central Coast through Thursday. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for the entire coastline of our viewing area until 1pm Thursday. Minor to moderate flooding is possible with highest tides to occur Monday through Wednesday. Highs rise into the 70s and 80s today with mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. Overnight lows drop into the 50s and 60s.

Minimal weather pattern shift through Tuesday, other than some stronger onshore flow. Early morning clouds may be more dense and slower to clear for areas north of the Gaviota Corridor. All eyes will be on the waters as King Tides continue.

Lots of clouds will occur Wednesday morning before a slow clearing pattern after lunch. Mostly cloudy conditions occur Thursday and Friday with cooler temperatures. A moderate storm is projected through Halloween and set to bring measurable rainfall to most of the area. More data on timing and impacts will come, stay tuned.
