MONTECITO, Calif. (KEYT) Children had some old fashioned fun at the annual Crane Country Fair.

They competed in sack races on the grass at Crane Country Day in Montecito on Sunday.

Parents and students volunteered to run the games that also included a rubber duck pond and musical chairs.

Kids won tickets for participating in each event.

They exchanged the tickets for prizes located under a tent.

Some children checked out the animals in a petting zoo.

The fair had some modern things to do, too, such as roll around in large plastic Zorb balls.

"We call this a friend-raiser and people from all over come and play and hang out and play carnival games it is just a wonderful day," said Librarian Traci Cope.

The free country fair is also a fundraiser and way to welcome the community to campus to see the private school that serves  K-through 8th graders.
