IMG_9511

MONTECITO, Calif.- Sixth grade students Emie Valle and Sterling Streatfeild are turning old t-shirts into reusable bags.

The Montecito Union School students created an environmental project Sharing Caring and Wearing.

All week long students at the school were encouraged to donate their old t-shirts.

The girls will turn the shirts into bags and will hand them out for free to Trader Joe's customers. Mission Linen Supply is also helping with this project.
