Oxnard Police arrest gang members for involvement in Jan. 13 shooting

OXNARD, Calif. - Oxnard Police have announced the arrest of three documented gang members for their involvement in a January 13 shooting.

Antonio Magallanes, 26, of Oxnard, Antonio Gutierrez, 18, of Santa Paula and Erick Rodriguez, 19, of Ventura have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and street terrorism.

The three men are accused of being involved in the shooting of a 29-year-old Oxnard resident. The victim was struck by a single bullet on the 100 block of North Roosevelt Avenue.

The Oxnard Police Department Violent Crimes Unit along with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department and Ventura City Police participated in serving multi-location search warrants.
