Lompoc Police investigate shooting in a home, arrest felon on probation

LOMPOC, Calif. - The Lompoc Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred inside of a home Friday morning.

Officers responded to a residence on the 800 block of North F Street after reports of gunshots at 1:16 a.m. Police arrived and found evidence of a shooting. But nobody was hurt.

Juan Fritz, 38, was arrested for numerous charges related to the shooting, including being a felon in possession of a firearm and child endangerment. Police also located the firearm believe to have been used in the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with information to call the Lompoc Police Department.
