Cracker Barrel opens new location in Camarillo
CAMARILLO, Calif. - Cracker Barrel's latest California location held a soft opening Friday in Camarillo with a ribbon cutting and breakfast.
The new 10,000 square-foot restaurant and country store is located at 560 E. Ventura Boulevard.
A company spokeswoman says the restaurant will create about 175 new full and part-time jobs in the Camarillo area.
The restaurant officially opens to the public on Monday at 6 a.m.
It can seat 180 guests and will be open seven days a week. The restaurant is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The Camarillo location is just the sixth to open in California, but the 663rd to open across the country.
In February 2019, a Cracker Barrel opened in Santa Maria in the Enos Ranch Center.
The new Camarillo location honors California and the local community with artifacts that pay tribute to the state's gold mining industry.
