Santa Barbara County public health provides updates on coronavirus pandemic

The Santa Barbara County Public Health Department provided updates on the coronavirus pandemic during its weekly discussion series on NewsChannel 3 Midday.

Santa Barbara County Public Health Director Van Do-Reynoso spoke with Alys Martinez about the county's continuing efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Santa Barbara County.

Do-Reynoso discussed the county's decision to extend the indoor mask mandate for another 30 days, and also spoke about the newly-approved coronavirus vaccine for kids 5 to 11.

The county's first vaccine clinic for children will be set up next week in Guadalupe. Information about that clinic can be found here.
