High pressure begins to build to the north and northeast of the forecast area meaning hot, dry and blustery weather. Strong Santa Ana winds will impact the Central Coast Monday, peak wind gusts will be in the morning, higher terrain areas could see 60mph gusts and Ventura County could see 45mph gusts. A High Wind Warning and Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for parts of Ventura County, these winds will dry out the area significantly and downed power lines or trees are possible. Luckily with the recent rainfall, no major fire impacts are expected from these winds, but its still good to note that humidity values will plummet and temperatures will warm fast. With minimal marine influence, expect highs in the lower to middle 70s.
