A warm & boo-tiful Halloween in store!

KEYT

Temperatures will be frigid Halloween morning, where some areas could see frosty windshields and temperatures dipping down to freezing. We have another Frost Advisory for the Santa Ynez Valley until 8am along with a Freeze Warning for San Luis Obispo interior Valleys and Cuyama Valley, where sub-freezing temperatures could kill crops and harm animals. After the sun starts to rise, we can expect temperatures to rise rapidly as well. It'll be a very similar setup to what we saw Monday with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s along with bright, sunny skies. It'll still be a very dry day as weak Santa Ana winds down in Ventura keep humidities values down in the teens or possibly single digits. The Red Flag Warning and Wind Advisory has been extended until 2pm this evening for Ventura counties, meaning dry and breezy conditions persist. Winds will be significantly calmer than the previous day but still on the blustery side of 20-30MPH sustained. Breezy conditions die off this evening and temperatures will slowly begin to cool as the sun sets, it'll be a fantastic night for trick or treating! Temperature wise, the first few hours of sunset will be perfect and not too cool, but you're planning on staying out late, grab a jacket as another chilly night is in store for the Central Coast.

We will wake up to another cool and crisp morning Wednesday, but it looks as though the marine layer will slowly make its return in some areas. By the afternoon, ant cloud that do form, will retreat and sunny skies persist. Temperatures for the day will be in the 70s and 80s, slightly above average but a great way to start out the month of November.

Thursday into the weekend looks rather mundane. Morning clouds give way to sunny skies each evening and temperatures will only fluctuate a few degrees. A slight cooling trend begins on Friday and looks to last into the first half of next week.
