A bright & beautiful Monday

With high pressure and offshore flow set up, we can expect a toasty Monday. Temperatures will be similar to Sunday with highs in the 70s and 80s near the beaches and upper 80s inland. Some areas of dense fog will develop in the valleys and north on Point Conception, but for the South Central Coast and further, the marine layer influence will be minimal. Winds will be calm to start the day, but we may end with some gusty sundowners by the afternoon. Strength-wise the winds are right at advisory levels, the National Weather service has issued a Wind Advisory starting at 6pm Monday evening. This advisory is set in place for the South Central Coast, where winds could gust up to 45mph.

Tuesday looks to be a copy and paste day, with a clear and cool morning and temperatures warming fast. Skies will remain mostly sunny and temperatures will be a degree or two cooler. The main discussion of the day will be winds. We can expect gusty sundowner winds, which could reach advisory thresholds. These winds along with the heat will raise the issue of fire danger.

Very minimal day to day change by Wednesday. The only real change will be the cloud cover to start out each morning but, its safe to say most areas will end up sunny by lunch. Thursday through the end of the week will be no different other than some breezier winds starting Friday.
