Sunday evening forecast December 1st
Another rainy day for the Central Coast with mostly cloudy and cool skies the farther south you travelled. A very large area of low pressure remains entrenched just to the west of California and this will keep us firmly in the grip of wet and cool weather for a good portion of next week!
Looking ahead for Monday, expect the showers to continue for the Central Coast while our southern areas see just a very slight chance for showers. Temperatures will remain on the cool side, but not quite as cool as we experienced these past few days. By late Tuesday rain will spread across the Central Coast and south in to Southern California. We could see moderate to heavy periods of rain and even thunder. As of right now there are no official flash flood or flooding issues posted. That could easily change as we get closer. A High Surf Advisory is in effect for large waves along west and northwest facing beaches on Monday. Thursday looks to be mostly dry, but by Friday and in to next Saturday, our next rain maker shows up and we see more showers/rain for the weekend!
