Wednesday evening forecast – March 4th
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Wednesday brought stubborn coastal clouds and fog through the morning and early afternoon for the South and Central Coasts, while inland areas still saw plenty of sun.
We are starting to see a cooling trend as we head into the end of the week. We'll see low clouds and occasionally dense fog develop along the coasts once again Wednesday night. That fog will keep coastal lows moderate--around 50 degrees. Inland areas will see lows dip into the upper-30s and low-40s.
On Thursday, we'll see a similar day with more morning fog lingering into the afternoon. Partly cloudy skies will follow, with highs in the mid to upper-60s. Low clouds and fog will develop again overnight into Friday, which looks to be a cooler day than Thursday.
On Saturday, we'll see scattered showers arrive and continue through the day. After drying out on Sunday, a more potent rain system arrives either Monday or Tuesday.
