Tracking isolated Thunderstorms Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! The chance for thunderstorms by the afternoon holds around 10-30% for many areas. All storms will be isolated and fast moving with gusty winds and lightning possible. When thunder roars go indoors. Most areas wake up to marine clouds and fog. Overcast skies hold steady through the evening as many clouds push in from monsoonal impacts. Highs rise to 60s, 70s and 80s. This is the last day for coastal flooding possibilities, a Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for Santa Barbara through Ventura.

More thunderstorm chances Thursday. Many areas will drop to 10% chance or less and all impacts will be minimal. This is the coolest day of the week with many areas falling 10 degrees below average. Expect 60s for most beaches. Skies hold mostly cloudy. Winds may be breezy at times, especially in high terrain. Some Wind Advisories may need to be issued.
