Clearing Thursday, warming Friday

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Coastal cloud coverage will last into Thursday morning.

The marine layer's grip will not be as strong, however, region-wide on Thursday - with it clearing off sooner in some areas.

South county may be the last to see the clouds clear Thursday in the afternoon.

By Thursday evening the marine layer influence will shrink.

Mostly clear skies will last through Friday and Saturday.

High pressure and offshore winds will warm us up slightly through Saturday as well, into the high 70s and 80s.

Clouds will return Sunday and Monday with brief cooling on those days.

Tuesday is looking near average for the first day of Fall, in the 70s.
