Tracking a warm Sunday, cooling next week

Happy Saturday! We end the evening with marine clouds tonight and cool overnight temperatures. Skies clear quickly Sunday and temperatures quickly rise. Many areas will feel similar to the weekend, but the interior will cool a few degrees. Inland Heat Alerts will be allowed to expire as well. Use sunscreen and enjoy!

Onshore flow will increase Monday adding additionally dense marine clouds and a slow clearing pattern. This will drop temperatures a few more degrees. Expect 70s and 80s at the beaches and 90s for the interior. A Coastal Flood Advisory kicks off Monday at 6pm and will last through Wednesday night for the Santa Barbara area. Minor coastal flooding is possible during high tide times. Typically around noon each day. Avoid being near the immediate water if possible.

Tuesday and Wednesday will cool further, dropping temperatures near average. Minimal weather pattern shifts are expected next week.
