Slight cooling Friday, tracking weekend clouds

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Friday will be very warm and mostly sunny with only 1 to 5 degrees of cooling across the region.

Temperatures will cool a bit more over the weekend with an increase in clouds and humidity.

There is a 10 percent chance of rain in our area though showers are more likely develop in southeast mountain ranges such as Ventura County than they are near the coast.

Local heat alerts will continue through next Thursday with hotter weather expected next week, during the beginning of the Mid State Fair in Paso Robles.
