Warming up Tuesday, hot weather this week

KEYT

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - We will continue to warm into the 70s on Tuesday before hot weather arrives for most of the week.

By Thursday, most of our area will warm into the 80s with minimal cooling through the weekend.

North winds will pick up by midweek. Local rain chances from the NorCal atmospheric river have dropped below 10% even in San Luis Obispo County. However, high clouds from that storm track will push into our skies for most of the region likely through Friday.

On Friday, record heat is possible - nearing 90 degrees in some areas.

We will begin to cool next Monday but still warm to start off March dependent on a low pressure system we'll be tracking for next week.
