Thursday evening forecast – June 3rd

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Strong onshore flow will once again push widespread marine layer over the beaches and into the interior valleys overnight tonight. Winds will stay relatively quiet, with mild overnight lows in the upper-40s to mid-50s.

On Friday, the coast will see slow clearing once again with some afternoon sunshine possible. Highs will reach the upper-60s to around 70 degress near the water, with moderately warmer temperatures in the 80s for the Santa Ynez Valley. The hot weather will likely stick around in the Cuyama Valley and other inland areas of California, with temperatures near or above 100 degrees.

This weekend we'll see a modest slight cooling trend as low pressure moves toward the West Coast. Onshore flow will likely stick with us into at least early next week. By next Wednesday, temperatures look to rebound with a chance for more sunshine.
